About the Event
Steve Borne has been a TV and film sound designer for over 35 years. He has worked with indie classic directors like Alice Wu and Harmony Korine, and Hollywood filmmakers like Alan Rudolph, Robert Altman, Paul Schrader and John McTiernan. Steve has earned two Emmy awards for mixing sound for TV. He has also recorded music with Jerry Garcia, Trey Anastasio, Tom Petty, and many more. Steve is a patent holder in the audio space and currently the CEO of a technology start up centered around audio for home.
